Our Annual Ice Fishing Contest is held on Lake Adirondack each year. Cash prizes are awarded each hour for the largest perch and northern pike. Mark your calendar for Third Saturday in January.

The Annual Kid's Fishing Derby takes place each year on Saturday of the July 4th holiday weekend. Families gather in Byron Park on Lake Adirondack to take in a great day of fishing. All children get free use of a fishing pole (if needed), free bait, free lunch and free prizes. How much better can it get? Come join the fun! No preregistration required. Free hotdogs, burgers, soda and ice cream for kid participants and their families. Free worms too!

About the Association

The Indian Lake / Blue Mountain Fish and Game Association, Inc. is an organization dedicated to the promotion of better fishing, hunting, and shooting sportsmanship in the local area and the conservation of the Adirondack's natural resources. Membership is open to any person who has similar interests and is willing to support the Association through occasional volunteering of time to help further the Association's goals.


7/4/15 - Kids Fishing Derby

Held on Adirondack Lake from 8 AM til 1 PM. Open to children 15 years and younger. Prizes for largest fish in several categories, free raffles, casting contest, loaner poles available. Hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks are free to kid fishers and their parental supervisors. Register at Byron Park on Adirondack Lake.

7/4/15 - Kids .22 Shoot

Held at The Fish and Game shooting range on Chain Lakes Road following Kids Fishing Derby. The F&G will provide gun safety instruction and oversight for this event which is open to all kids 6 -16 years of age. All levels of experience are welcome. Children must be accompanied to the range by an adult. Each child must have a liability release form signed by a parent/guardian. This can be done at the range or at the Kids Derby.
