The Annual Kid's Fishing Derby takes place each year on Saturday of the July 4th holiday weekend. Families gather in Byron Park on Lake Adirondack to take in a great day of fishing. All children get free use of a fishing pole (if needed), free bait, free lunch and free prizes. How much better can it get? Come join the fun! No preregistration required. 9/13/15 - Annual Steak BBQ

This is the 13th year we have been doing this barbecue and is contingent upon someone volunteering to coordinate this affair. This is essentially a potluck picnic with the F & G supplying delicious steaks . A great time to meet other members as well as share some good times with members who you may have worked/played with during the year. Due to the time squeeze, we will send out a special announcement with registration info if the BBQ is on.

9/26/15 -Old Fashioned Turkey Shoot At Range

The F&G will be holding an “old fashioned turkey shoot” from 9AM ‘til mid- PM in conjunction with the Townwide Moose Festival. Events will be available for all levels of shooters and for children as well as adults. BB gun, .22 rifle, and shotgun venues are planned. We will have food and drinks for sale. In case you are wondering, all shooting events will use artificial targets. Prizes will include frozen turkeys and chickens as well as certificates for a bird if you are not ready to take the real thing home on Sat. We try to break even on this fun event and aim to keep costs low for participants. Contact Hank Dobbin 251-4063.
